| I got Pirates final from fileplanet. I have the latest patches. When I run the aplication to install the game, it goes from 50% to finished instantly. I cant find the executable file for pirates. I did put it in the main BF folder too. It looks like the other mods, DC, etc. Is my game half installed? I have no executable links to start the game on my desktop, start menu, or in the folder itself. HELP!! |

Sounds like your install file is corrupted. Try re-downloading from a different mirror?

Can you access bfp1 from the custom games tab in the bf1942 main menu?

| I have this same problem and have downloaded it from three different mirrors. Could it hav anything to do with the fact I have windows 7? Please Help? |

Hum maybe, try install it with compatability mode turned to xp sp2 (right click exe, go properties.)

just asking... but do you have BF1942 or BF2?
BFP1 is played on BF1942... and BFP2 is played on BF2...
If not what are your system specs...?
and does BF1942/BF2 run well on your computer?

| yeah man both fully patched. And I have pirates 2 as well and that works perfectly. I installed an older versian of Pirates 1 and that worked and it installed fine. Both games run perfect and everthing. But pirates final just doesn't install properly. |

I haven't installled it on my new Win7 system yet, so I can check for you if that may be the issue --- but it might be a couple weeks before I get ahold of my physical disk again (I only have the image for Secret Weapons because I tend only to keep what's needed to play rather than install). I can't imagine a specific version of the mod has an issue with Win7 though, but it could be an incompatibility in the installer program. Anyway once I can, I'll install to see how it works.
