If you are asking if you can stick it in a freezer and magically make it work, thats an awful myth. _________________

How to retrieve stuff off a broken Hard Drive:
1. Jam it open with a crowbar.
2. Insert cottage cheese.
3. Heat in microwave for 5 minutes.
4. Add white bread and fry in oven for 20 minutes.
5. Server with duff beer and salad. _________________

Just take it to some computer professional guy, they might get your stuff, but it's totally up to how badly it is broken. _________________

Ive frozen multiple harddrives after they have gone through the click of death and become unreadable. You'll have a limited amount of time to back stuff up before it dies on you again so be quick about it right after taking it out of the freezer. Freeze it for a good 4 hours or so and have a backup drive ready.
Although this doesnt work 100% of the time, you can always give it to a professional after trying it out! _________________
